About onlinecasinos.org.mx

What this independent directory of SEGOB-licensed casinos in Mexico does and doesn't do, how we check each site, and how the site is funded.

Who we are

Who We Are

onlinecasinos.org.mx is an independent directory of the online casinos that hold a permit from Mexico’s Secretaría de Gobernación (SEGOB, the Interior Ministry).

We have no link to SEGOB or to its gaming regulator, the Dirección General de Juegos y Sorteos (DGJS). No casino operator owns the site or any part of it.

What we do

What the Site Does for Readers

  • We keep the list of licensed casino sites in Mexico, showing the company that holds each permit, the permit number and the DGJS letter (oficio) that authorizes each domain.
  • We run a site check, so you can compare an address with that list before you sign up anywhere.
  • We explain how the Mexican permit works, what the rules ask of players and where to get help if gambling stops being fun.
  • We publish a comparison of licensed casinos built on a method anyone can check.
What we don't do

What We Don’t Do

We are not a casino and take no bets. We hold no player balances and process no payments. We also can’t sort out problems with your casino account: those go to the operator first and, if it doesn’t answer, to the DGJS.

How we check

How We Check the Information

Our starting point is the list of authorized websites that the DGJS publishes. We then look at each site from a connection in Mexico: the permit number and oficio in its footer, and whether the domain is still live. When the DGJS suspends a domain or takes it off its list, we remove it too.

We review the data every three months, and sooner when something important changes. The authority always has the last word: if anything here disagrees with what the DGJS publishes, the DGJS is right.

Who checks

Who Checks the Information

Eduardo Ramírez lives in Mexico City and reviews what we publish on onlinecasinos.org.mx. He compares the licensed casino list with the DGJS register, updates the casino comparison when a permit changes, and reads the messages from readers who spot a wrong detail.

His name sits at the top of every page he has reviewed, next to the date it was last updated. Corrections sent through the contact page go straight to him. Away from the site he follows Liga MX, runs in Chapultepec on weekend mornings and collects old vinyl records.

Eduardo Ramírez’s profile lists every page that carries his name.

Funding

How the Site Is Funded

The casino comparison contains affiliate links, and an operator may pay us when a reader signs up through one. That never changes the order or the data, and the details are in our terms of use. How casinos are ranked is set out in our ranking method.
